y = x^2 + 3k/4p

Ah, y ...defined in terms of other variables.  I've felt that way - a daughter, wife, sister, mom, friend - seeing myself only in the light of my relationships.


As life would have it I now find myself at age 50, divorced after 30 years, my parents having passed and my kids grown up.  With a lot fewer roles to play in life I'm curious about the value of y, of myself,, without any other variables.  Who am I?  What do I like?  Y?
